Sierra Nevada Circumnavigation

What you can expect

The road bike route from Almería via Granada to Guadix and back to Almería, including the Pico del Veleta, Europe's highest passable road pass at 3,396 m, is a real highlight. The Sierra Nevada undoubtedly proves to be the jewel of Europe, offering everything that makes road cycling unique.

With gentle climbs and little traffic, the passes are a pleasure. The villages of the Alpujarras cling to the southern slopes like pearls, accompanied by turquoise-blue reservoirs. And then the ultimate challenge awaits: the Pico del Veleta, a must for every road cyclist. This ride through incomparable beauty and effort is unforgettable.
